Adding conditions to trigger workflows using CloudApper

  • To create a trigger, select โ€œCreate Newโ€ from the bottom right โ€“ this will prompt you to create the trigger automatically
  • Here, you can set up your trigger and choose the options which work best for your needs

If you want to trigger a workflow after a record is created in any particular form:

  • Choose โ€œAfterโ€ and โ€œOn Createโ€ from the options
  • Choose the proper table or form and the workflow will run whenever a record is created in that form

If you want to trigger a workflow before a record is created in any particular form:

  • Choose โ€œBeforeโ€ and โ€œOn Createโ€ from the screen and choose the proper form
  • The workflow will be triggered right before you initiate creating a record in that form

If you want to set a workflow before or after a record is being updated instead of being created:

  • Choose โ€œOn Updateโ€ from the selection along with โ€œBeforeโ€ or โ€œAfterโ€ as per your needs
  • This will trigger the workflow on any edit in that record

Creating records automatically based on specific triggers from your UKG solution

  • Add a trigger
  • Click on the โ€œ+โ€ button beneath the trigger
  • Select โ€œCreate Recordโ€
  • Select appropriate options from the dropdown lists (watch the video below to learn more)
  • Select โ€œDoneโ€

Fetch records from your UKG solution as needed using CloudApper

  • Add a trigger
  • Click on the โ€œ+โ€ button beneath the trigger
  • Select โ€œFetch Recordsโ€
  • Select whether to fetch single or multiple records under โ€œRecord Typeโ€
  • Select appropriate options from the dropdown lists (please watch the video to learn more)
  • Add โ€œFiltersโ€ if needed
  • Select โ€œDoneโ€

Using CloudApper to generate records/form properties after fetching multiple records from your UKG solution

  • Click on the โ€œ+โ€ button beneath โ€œFetch Recordsโ€

  • Under โ€œField Assignment,โ€ click on โ€œEnter a Valueโ€ and select the option(s) with the iterator
  • Select โ€œDoneโ€

Updating existing records automatically in CloudApper based on specific triggers from your UKG software

  • Add a โ€œTriggerโ€ and select โ€œOn Createโ€ under the โ€œOn Fireโ€ option
  • Click on the โ€œ+โ€ button beneath the trigger
  • Select โ€œUpdate Recordโ€

  • Select โ€œDoneโ€

  • Add a trigger

  • Select the conditions which will define the different scenarios
  • Add appropriate conditions in the workflow as required for the different logic paths
  • Click on โ€œSaveโ€

Using CloudApper to configure various connectors to execute defined actions

  • Add a trigger
  • Click on the โ€œ+โ€ button beneath the trigger
  • Select โ€œConnectorโ€
  • Select the connector group and the option from the subsequent list
