Thank you for reaching out. This is totally achievable using our ShiftConfirm solution. This solution will allow the lifeguards to receive a notification one hour before their shift starts, either via SMS or email. If they respond with a “No” or do not respond within five minutes, the manager will be automatically notified through one or more of the following methods: SMS, push notification, or email. The manager can then take the necessary action to fill the shift.
This solution is a significant improvement over the traditional method of confirming shifts. With ShiftConfirm, there is no need for manual follow-up calls or emails, which can be time-consuming and may not provide immediate results. Instead, the system is designed to automate the process and ensure that the manager is immediately alerted to any issues.
ShiftConfirm will not only help to streamline the shift confirmation process, but it will also ensure that employees attend their shifts on time. By providing employees with a timely reminder, ShiftConfirm reduces the chances of an employee forgetting about their shift or showing up late.

Thank you for your inquiry. We are able to create a system that can calculate your employees’ total work hours and automatically adjust their hourly payment based on different pay tiers for various jobs. Here’s how we can assist you:
Data Collection: We will first gather all necessary employee information, including their hourly payment rates and timecard data (Punch-In & Punch-Out) from your UKG Dimensions system.
Pay Tier Addition: Your manager can add multiple pay progression tiers for each job separately in the system. You will be able to include the new pay rate in the tier ruleset for the employee to progress to once they reach the tier.
System Design: Based on the timecard data, our custom solution will calculate your employees’ total work hours daily and verify whether they have reached the hour threshold for the tier you have set for their job. If they reach the threshold, the system will automatically increase their base hourly wage and replace it with the new wage from the pay progression tier.
Integration: Our system is designed to integrate with your UKG PRO system or any other HCM/Payroll system to transfer data seamlessly.
Custom Reports: Your manager will receive a report via email every day that informs them about which employees have had a pay progression that day, keeping everyone updated.
We will provide your staff with training on how to use the system, as well as ongoing support to address any issues.
In summary, we can create a custom system that will automatically calculate your employees’ work hours and adjust their hourly payment rates based on different pay tiers. This system can also integrate with your UKG PRO system to transfer data automatically, which will streamline your payroll process and save you time.
Yes, it’s actually pretty easy. We will leverage our workflow engine to achieve this. The engine will automatically compare between the current punch and the punch an employee is about to submit. We can set any buffer in between. If an employee tries to punch before the buffer is over, they will get an error message. The error message and the buffer time can be customized for your exact use case and changed on the fly.
Absolutely, the CloudApper platform can assign NFC tags, QR codes, or barcodes to any records. We will just leverage this capability, and add in any one of these codes with each of your Jobs when we pull these from UKG.
As soon as you scan your face, another scanner will pop up asking for the code. Based on which job code you scan at that time, you will be punched in with that job’s information. This punch will be sent to UKG in real-time.
March 9, 2023 at 8:54 pm in reply to: Making sure that my employees take at least a 30-minute lunch break. #70663Yes, in RightPunch, we can set up 2 buttons like “Out for Lunch” and “Back from Lunch” between Punch In and Punch Out. When deployed, our system will keep track of an employee’s most recent “Out for Lunch” punch. When they try to punch back in, we can show them a text explaining why they can’t punch back in at the moment if their Lunch Break hasn’t been long enough.
The break duration, button names, and error text will be customized to your liking and can be changed any time.
Thank you for reaching out. Yes, we have the ability to add these sorts of questions to the RightPunch solution. Typically, we trigger these questions based on the type of punch, e.g., Punch In, Punch Out, Break etc.
For your specific use case, we will add a Punch In and a Punch Out button in your app. We will also add in the Friday-specific question. When all setup, you will have the flexibility to add any other questions if needed.
By default, you will be able to see your employee’s responses in the RightPunch solution. We will create a separate menu for this. We also have the capability to send notifications based on an employee’s response. For example, if an employee answers that they were injured during their shift, we can send an automated push or email notification to the manager to dramatically reduce their response time.
