Adding conditions to trigger workflows using CloudApper
- To create a trigger, select “Create New” from the bottom right – this will prompt you to create the trigger automatically
- Here, you can set up your trigger and choose the options which work best for your needs
If you want to trigger a workflow after a record is created in any particular form:
- Choose “After” and “On Create” from the options
- Choose the proper table or form and the workflow will run whenever a record is created in that form
If you want to trigger a workflow before a record is created in any particular form:
- Choose “Before” and “On Create” from the screen and choose the proper form
- The workflow will be triggered right before you initiate creating a record in that form
If you want to set a workflow before or after a record is being updated instead of being created:
- Choose “On Update” from the selection along with “Before” or “After” as per your needs
- This will trigger the workflow on any edit in that record
